Selecting
a venue for your wedding is one of the most important decisions
you will make while planning your wedding.
We
are very pleased that you are reading this information as
it should mean that Historic Kinloch is on your list of what
you feel is the perfect fit for the ideal venue.
Before
contacting Kinloch or scheduling a tour please consider the
following:

You should have the date of your wedding already set or
at least a specific month you have in mind for your wedding
in order for us to determine if we have your date available.

You should plan to choose a venue at least six months to
12 months before your wedding date. The venue is usually
the first wedding service a bride selects. Dates are limited
as Historic Kinloch only hosts one event per weekend. Our
most popular months are April- October and these are the
months that book rapidly.

the venue is located?

Are you interested in the type of venue that Historic Kinloch
represents? We are a private estate and offer a spectacular
setting for the ceremony and reception. However, we are
not to be confused with a hotel or large event type of venue,
which offers an indoor ballroom. Most of the event will
be held outdoors for very large weddings. The Manor House
is open and available to guests through out the event for
restrooms, entertaining in the bar, as well as mingling
in the great room and other areas of the home. The reception
( dining and dancing) is held under the tented pavilion
located at the back of the Manor Home.
- Historic Kinloch is primarily an outdoor venue; our season is April- October. We can host very small weddings (50 guests or less) during the winter months.
After
contacting Historic Kinloch and scheduling a tour please consider
the following:

Be sure to keep your appointment. If something should arise
and you cannot keep the appointment please be considerate
and contact Kinloch to re-schedule your visit. Quite a bit
of time is invested in every tour that is given at Historic
Kinloch. The estate is prepped and the house set up for
the tour. The person meeting with you has reserved their
time to meet with you, prepare a presentation and answer
all of your questions. Historic Kinloch is a private residence
and scheduling is very important to us.

Tours usually take an hour. You will tour the grounds, the
Manor Home, browse through Kinloch’s photo books to
gain a better understanding of past weddings held here and
how they are set up and each package will be discussed to
better fit your needs.

Please plan to bring anyone who is important to you in your
decision making process for the selection of your venue.

You should be prepared to sign the contract and pay the
deposit on the day of your visit if you really like the
venue. We do not hold dates. Many couples have been disappointed
to learn when checking back after a tour that the date they
were interested in was booked in the interim.

In order to secure your date with Historic Kinloch we require
a 25% deposit of the package you select. We do not accept
credit cards. Acceptable forms of payment is a personal
check or a cashier’s check drawn from your financial
institution.
